[FPS Benchmarks] The Witcher 3 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W) – RTX 3080 is 33% faster on average
The Witcher 3 is still a popular game despite the fact it was released back in 2015. And it still looks good – there are numerous total conversion mods that are enhancing the visual quality significantly. In addition, the vanilla version is light and it runs on almost any modern non-expensive GPU at least on Low settings.
As we said, the game is light. Even for Ultra details, a mid-range GPU like the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) should be okay for 60 FPS. For this article, we have prepared two fast NVIDIA Ampere graphics solutions – the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W).

Verdict
Well, that was expected – the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is clearly way faster when it’s directly compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W). Both have the same TGP levels so it’s easy to see the exact performance gap between them, at least when it comes to The Witcher 3. In this case, the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is 33% faster on average.
