[FPS Benchmarks] ARK: Survival Evolved on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) – the bigger GPU is just faster
ARK: Survival Evolved is somehow a unique game. It offers beautiful graphics alongside interesting gameplay that features prehistoric creatures and other hostile humans. The player should survive in this challenging environment by crafting weapons, creating a base, battling other animals and humans, etc.
ARK: Survival Evolved uses Unreal 4 and yes, the title looks great even on Medium details. Om the other hand, the Epic preset looks great but it’s heavy on the system resources so let’s check how fast the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) are when it comes to ARK: Survival Evolved.

Verdict
Unexpectedly the smaller GPU is faster on Low but it’s not that important because the game doesn’t look good at all on Low settings. On High and Ultra, the bigger GPU is at least 20% faster when compared to its smaller sibling. But they, the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) is doing a good job for a mid-range GPU and it can show 55 FPS on Epic quality which is okay for a normal gameplay experience. If you want more FPS just apply the High preset – it’s a decent combination of picture quality and performance.
