[FPS Benchmarks] CS:GO on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the bigger GPU is 61% faster on average
Like it or not, CS:GO is one of the most popular games ever and the same goes for its predecessors – CS: Source and CS 1.6. Its gameplay still attracts new players but it’s not the only reason that makes the game so popular. CS:GO became a free-to-play game, its graphical representation is still okay, and in addition to that – the game is light.
Just like every other competitive shooter, more FPS and a high refresh rate display are always a welcomed extra. For today’s article, we have prepared two video cards that can show sky-high FPS when it comes to CS:GO – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict
That was a bit unexpected but the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is 61% faster on average compared to the RTX 3070 (140W). This is a big performance gap and if CS:GO is one of your favorite games (and if your wallet is big enough) the 165W version of the RTX 3080 can offer you top performance.
Still, the GeForce RTX 3070 [140W] can show 336 FPS on Max quality which is (probably) fine for most gamers.
