Compact laptops have been getting more and more popular. They are just so portable and easy to carry around that most people sacrifice having a bigger screen for better portability.

Today we will be showcasing the second generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 and L13 Yoga. They have kept the sleek and stylish design, and have upgraded the internal components.

Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 2

The first laptop on our list is the ThinkPad L13. If you didn’t know before, most of the time, the number in the name of a laptop usually tells of its screen size. Lenovo has you choosing between two 13-inch displays. One is an HD TN panel with a 1366×768 resolution. The other is a Full HD IPS screen. The main difference between the TN screen and the IPS one, apart from the resolution, is the better viewing angles of the latter.

Additionally, the device has three options for CPUs, all of which are Tiger Lake ranging from a Core i3 to a Core i7. The laptop comes with many other interesting features, such as Wi-Fi 6, and according to Lenovo, it has passed more than 200 quality checks and 12 military-grade requirements.

And for the second device of the article, it is pretty identical to the first one. The biggest difference by far is the 360-degree hinge that allows you to use the laptop in a variety of different ways, like tent mode, where that laptop stands on the edges of its keyboard and screen, and tablet mode, where you fold it the other way around.

Another difference is the screen, where you only have one choice – a Full HD display – similarly to the ThinkPad L13. It still has the same Tiger Lake components that the ThinkPad L13 has and also Wi-Fi 6, as well as a variety of ports and connectors.
