1. Design and build quality
With an aluminum lid and chassis, the laptop’s build quality can be seen from afar. Both are really flex-resistant, despite the thin profile of the laptop, with the front measuring at 9.3 mm, which goes up to 14.8 mm at the back, still pretty thin and portable. The weight is also kept to a minimum, stopping the scales at 1.40 kg. The sharp edges and round corners are very reminiscent of a MacBook, but the brushed pattern on the lid gives it enough character to make it stand out. Speaking of the lid, it opens with one hand, revealing a set of stereo speakers, a keyboard, and a touchpad.
The latter two are really good, with the keyboard featuring long key travel and clicky feedback. The power button also acts as a fingerprint reader, which is helpful for a quick and secure user experience. The touchpad isn’t very large, but the glass surface is very smooth, and the general accuracy and responsiveness of the pad are superb.
2. I/O
The I/O features everything that you might need. We have two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a MicroSD card reader, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSIM card slot.
3. Display quality
There are two 15.0-inch display options, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The base configuration offers a Full HD IPS panel, while you can upgrade to a 4K UHD display. We tested the Full HD version, which performed admirably and showed great results in our tests. The panel comes with comfortable viewing angles and no PWM usage across all brightness levels. The uniformity isn’t fantastic, with the right side of the display being out of line, but the panel still maintains a max brightness of 463 nits in the middle of the screen and 426 nits as an average for the whole area, with a maximum deviation of 17%. The display offers near full sRGB color coverage.
The accuracy is close to being good even with the stock settings (left), reaching a dE value of 2.7. It got way better once we applied our Design and Gaming profile (right), going down to 1.0.

The laptop comes in two battery sizes. One of them is cut in half, sporting a size of 48.5Wh. There is also an 88Wh battery pack. We tested the former, which lasted for 14 hours and 31 minutes of Web browsing, or 9 hours and 51 minutes of video playback. Now imagine what the laptop can do with a bigger battery. This is some MacBook-challenging stuff.

1. Upgradeability
Sadly, the upgradeability has gone kaput, with there being only soldered RAM, which comes in either 8, 16, or 32GB configurations that work in quad-channel mode. Storage-wise, there is a single M.2 PCIe x4 slot, which fits 30mm drives.
