Lenovo unveils the new Moto X4 – awesome design and modern camera

After weeks of speculation and many different rumors, Lenovo finally announced the Moto X4. In 2016, the tech company was trying to “revive” its Z series and, when it finally happened, the time came for the X series.

Announced in Berlin at IFA 2017, Moto X4 falls into the mid-range smartphone market and offers some remarkable characteristics, the most impressive one being the dual camera setup.

The display is 5.2″ with a resolution of 1080p, while the build is similar to that of Moto Z2 Force but the back is different. Both the front and the back are protected by Gorilla Glass 4 which makes sure there are no scratches on the screen. The smartphone will work will Snapdragon 630 CPU, the battery has a capacity of 3,300mAh, and also the device has an IP68 certificate for dust and water resistance.

Anyway, let’s get back to the dual camera – it features a 12MP main sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and 8MP secondary one with a f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera is 16M and comes with an “adaptive low light mode” for better performance in dim conditions and a Panorama Selfie feature.

Moreover, X4 is the second Android smartphone after HTC U11 that will support the Amazon assistant – Alexa, which can be accessed even when the device is locked.
