日本HP Victus 16 (16-r0000) review – has potent cooling and color-accurate display
The HP Victus devices are a step down compared to their more premium HP Omen siblings. In most cases, there are some cuts here and there but the overall performance is good and the end price isn’t as high as the top-end machines.
This time we will show you the HP Victus 16 (16-r0000) and this one looks promising. It can be configured with powerful Intel Raptor Lake-H or HX CPUs and the most potent GPU option is the mobile NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. The display uses the conventional 16:9 ratio but you can choose between 6 panel variants. Unfortunately, some of them are tied to specific processors or graphics options.
The rest looks standard for a 2023 gaming machine – optional Wi-Fi 6E, backlit keyboard, big vents on the base, and different color options. So, we got a not-so-expensive gaming laptop that can be configured with high-end hardware. This sounds nice but as always, good cooling is a mandatory feature for such a device and that’s why we have high expectations regarding this one right here.
