It’s pretty well known that Dell’s high-end business devices are one of the best. Today we have a portable convertible from the Latitude family, the Latitude 13 9330 (2-in-1). It’s the first of the new 9330 series, coming with a new design and some of the most efficient hardware that’s available, the 9W versions of the Alder Lake U-series processors, along with a high-res display for both productivity and design work, if you’re willing to pay the steep premium.

Design

While Dell hides the build materials, both the lid and base look like they’re made from metal. First of all, we really like the black finish. The lid, base, and bottom panel have a matte metal finish, while the edges and sides of the lid are anodized and come in a slightly lighter shade. On the base, there are two speaker grills that flank the keyboard. In terms of portability, the laptop weighs in at just 1.27 kg and has a profile of 14.12 mm.

Display

The display comes with a 13.3-inch diagonal and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The unit uses an IPS panel with a QHD+ resolution. It reaches 500 nits of brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut.

Specifications and features

There are three 9W Alder Lake U-series processors to pick from, with the Core i5-1230U, Core i5-1240U, and Core i7-1260U. We’ve seen the 1230U in benchmarks, and it can go way above the 9W TDP, provided the cooling is good. For graphics, there’s only the integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7.

The port selection of the Latitude 13 comes with one USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 2) port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an optional NanoSIM slot.
