日本HP EliteBook 840 G10 review – Business Laptop with a Breathtaking Display
These days, you can find a lot of small and capable business laptops. One of them is the HP EliteBook 840 G10 which is compact but can be equipped with snappy 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake P-series CPU options if you need more power. For those who prefer a longer autonomous battery life, the 15W U-series processor models are also available for configuring alongside the Intel Evo certification. There are no dGPU models here but on the bright side, the iGPUs are snappy enough for light gaming (if the memory is in dual-channel mode). For example, our machine can show 95FPS on average in CS:GO on Max details which is a respectable result for an Iris Xe Graphics G7 (96EU).
The input devices are very important for an office machine. Here, you can rely on a spill-resistant keyboard and a glass touchpad. In terms of security, you get a privacy shutter, a dTPM 2.0 chip, a self-healing BIOS, and a Nano Security Lock slot. If you want your device to be full of extras, you can order it with optional goodies such as a vPro CPU, LTE or 5G eSIM functionality, a backlit keyboard, NFC, a fingerprint reader, or an IR Web camera. Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3 are the connectivity options.
You can choose between four display variants – three 1200p units and one 1600p 120Hz model. One of them is a touchscreen. The machine has survived the torture of many MIL-STD 810H military tests so we can hope for good chassis rigidity.
