日本[Comparison] Intel Core i5-12500H vs Intel Core i7-11800H – Rookie vs Veteran
So far, the Core i5-12500H has been a phenomenal chip, at least from the few comparisons that we’ve managed to do. Today, it faces a real challenge, as we are putting it up against the Core i7-11800H, an untamed horse of sorts.
The CPU has shown that it can perform, but cooling is of critical importance. While the Core i7 doesn’t bring flashy new E-cores, it makes up for it with more cache and higher base and boost speeds.

The Core i5-12500H overpowers its opponent, scoring 6% higher in Cinebench 20 and is nearly 0.6 seconds quicker in Photoshop.

Conclusion
The generational gap in performance from Tiger Lake to Alder Lake is something that we didn’t expect, but are delighted to see. It’s clear that AMD’s domination in recent years really lit a fire under Intel, and they are now properly unleashed, delivering very powerful processors that push the boundaries of mobile performance.
