AMD A10-4655M is a 4 core, low mid-range processor announced in Q2 of 2013. It is part of AMD’s “Trinity” architecture family and operates at a base frequency of 2GHz. If a higher frequency is needed, its cores can overclock to 2.8GHz.
The chip is equipped with 192KB of first level cache and 4MB of second level cache. A10-4655M has been developed using a 32nm process, allowing for the integration of the AMD Radeon HD 7620G graphics controller. It operates at a base frequency of 360MHz and maximum of 497MHz. The iGPU supports DirectX 11 applications. Power consumption of the whole chip is 25 watts with a maximum operating temperature of 100C.
AMD A10-4655M supports TurboCore3.0 (increasing clock frequency when necessary), PCI Express 2.0, DDR3L/U 1333/1600 memory, the SSE4 and AES instruction sets.
