Intel Atom x7-Z8750 is a energy efficient 4-core SoC which can be found in ultra-thin laptops, convertibles or tablets with passive cooling. It has been launched in Q1 of 2016 as a part of the Cherry Trail generation. Atom x7-Z8750’s base frequency is 1.1GHz but when needed it can be boosted up to 2.56 GHz which brings enough processing power for everyday tasks as surfing the Web, reading e-mails or working with office applications.
The x7-Z8750 is manufactured through 14 nm process and its TDP is less than 4 watts. Intel claims that its SDP (Scenario Design Power) is just 2W. This said, the chip includes the iGPU HD Graphics 405 (Brasswell). It includes 16 EUs, operating at a base frequency of 400MHz, but can boost up to 600MHz.
Compared to its ARM-based rivals, the CPU should perform a bit slower than Pentium N3710.
