1. Design and build quality
While the laptop is mostly crafted out of plastic, with only the lid being made out of metal, the device is pretty durable, durable enough to withstand and survive the MIL-STD-810H series of durability tests, which include shock, drop, humidity, and extreme temperatures. The design itself has a TUF logo in the center of the lid, while the angles are styled to include rivets in the corner, providing a more industrial and militaristic aesthetic.
The lid opens easily with one hand, revealing a very good keyboard for gaming with a backlight, highlighted WASD keys, long key travel, and clicky feedback. The arrow keys are a bit smaller, though, which might rub some people the wrong way. The touchpad is pretty large, offering a smooth gliding surface, excellent responsiveness, and a satisfying click.
2. Upgradeability
The laptop delivers big on the upgradeability, offering two SODIMM RAM slots that can fit up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, along with two M.2 PCIe x4 drives for future SSD expansion.

3. Display quality
The display is pretty good solely for gaming, coming with a Full HD 144Hz IPS panel. The panel has comfortable viewing angles, a max brightness of 296 nits in the middle of the screen and 285 nits as an average for the whole area, with a maximum deviation of 8%. The contrast ratio is high enough – 1130:1. Sadly, the color overage isn’t that good, with the panel covering about half of the sRGB color gamut (53%).

1. I/O
The I/O lacks any Thunderbolt support, due to the AMD CPU. The device also lacks an SD card reader, but if you don’t care about both, the I/O offers pretty good coverage. There are two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, two USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, a LAN port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Type-C ports also offer DisplayPort output with G-Sync support.
