ASUS' ROG series has been killing on the gaming notebook market segment but in the last couple of years, more and more alternatives start to pop out beside the hard time the Taiwanese company gets from Alienware. Pros
- Refreshing and sleek design
- Great input devices
- Slightly thinner than its predecessor
- Supports two M.2 PCIe NVMe 2280 SSD slots
- Excellent sound quality
- No PWM across all brightness levels
- Effective and relatively silent cooling system
- Excellent display properties including 75 Hz refresh rate and G-Sync-enabled technology
Cons
- Last year's G751 seemed more solid with better choice of materials
- Mediocre battery life
- Doesn't support RAID 0 configurations
- The right side of the machine is a bit overcrowded with ports
