It turns out that the Alienware 15 has a decent battery life

We are conducting series of tests on the new Dell Alienware 15 right now and we would like to share with you some interesting results. We are talking about battery tests, in particular.

As most of you would expect, this gaming powerhouse isn’t made for running for long hours, especially considering all the LED lights on the chassis, powerful CPU and GPU, cooling system and etc. However, this little beast here was able to squeeze out 200 minutes of non-stop browsing, 224 minutes of video playback and 120 minutes of gaming. This might not sound a lot, but compared to other 15-inch gaming laptops like the Lenovo Y50 and Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition, the Alienware 15 sustained more than its competitors.

Just for the record, the big chassis of the Alienware 15, contains a huge 92Wh 8-cell battery. However, even this one struggles to keep up with the powerful internals of the notebook. Stay tuned for our in-depth review of this exciting gaming machine.
