Yesterday we published our detailed review on the new budget 2-in-1 device from Toshiba – Satellite Click Mini. We had some technical difficulties with the battery tests, but we managed to test its endurance and the results are somehow disappointing.

The Satellite Click Mini features two batteries with a 19.5 Wh capacity – the first one is in the tablet itself while the other one is in the docking station. We ran the usual browsing and video playback tests with the same conditions – Wi-Fi turned on, Bluetooth is off and screen brightness is set to 120 cd/m2. The device will get you through about 339 minutes of web browsing while watching a movie a bit more – 362 minutes. This is calculated with both batteries so keep in mind that the results will be two times lower when relying only on the tablet itself.

Another interesting thing worth mentioning is the discharging and charging scheme. When discharging, the main power source is the docking station (which will let you use the tablet when the docking station is not needed). However, when charging things are the other way around – the tablet is the first one to be charged fully.
