日本HP ProBook 440 G10 review – snappy office device that needs a revamped cooling system
The last year’s ProBook 440 G9 is a great inexpensive business laptop that is also suitable for home usage. Now, the successor is called HP ProBook 440 G10 and it looks almost identically compared to the predecessor. However, the new model can be configured with the 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake U and P CPUs which means more torture for the cooling system.
Of course, if you prefer AMD processors, you can have a look at the Team Red version of this device – the HP ProBook 445 G10. Let’s get back to the Intel model – the 768p TN panel is still available. Avoid it like the plague! HP is also offering a 1080p IPS panel – this should be the logical choice for most people if money isn’t a problem. In addition, there is a touchscreen variant for the ones whore prefer to use their laptop in a bit fancier way.
Extras like a fingerprint reader, a backlit keyboard, a Web camera with an IR sensor, and an LTE card are part of the package but all these goodies are optional. So, if you want to have the ultimate version of this notebook in terms of features, you have to pay more.
We like the fact that you can choose from a plethora of CPU and iGPU variants, and there is even an optional dGPU model for people who like to play CS:GO after work. Alright, it’s time to test the laptop.

What’s in the box?
Inside the box, you’ll find the laptop itself, some manuals, and a 65W barrel plug charger. The least powerful configurations come with a 45W unit. There are also optional 45W and 65W USB Type-C adapters.
