Design

The laptop comes with a magnesium-aluminum chassis and has two color options, either Ponder Blue or Refined White. Both look pretty good, but the white takes the cake in our opinion. The alloy that’s used keeps the laptop incredibly light, weighing only 1.10 kg and having a profile of 14.9 mm. The design translates to a high-class status, with sharp edges, rounded corners, and glossy hinge covers.

On the sides, the I/O includes one USB Type-C 3.2 (Gen. 2) port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Display

The Zenbook arrives with a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s got a peak brightness of 550 nits in HDR mode as well as an infinite contrast ratio, leading to deep blacks that make other colors on the screen pop. It also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut, so you can definitely use it as a mobile drawing station or edit and color-grade photos on the go.

Specifications and features

Powered by the P-series, you get a mix of performance and efficiency. You can choose between the Core i5-1240P and the Core i7-1260P, both with 12 cores and 16 threads. The i7 does come with more cache, which is helpful for more strenuous and prolonged work. For graphics, you have the integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7 which can be helpful when video rendering, since they do have a hardware encoding chip on the die itself. The laptop also supports Windows Hello and has an IR scanner and an FHD webcam. There are also Harman/Kardon speakers. The laptop has a lot of AI features that help its usability. The ASUS software that comes with the laptop uses AI to reduce visual noise and improve clarity when in video calls. It can also reduce audio noise from the microphones, so you sound more clear during meetings.
