MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo (A13M) review – hunting for Yogas
Performance: CPU, GPU, Gaming Tests
CPU options
At least for now, the device is offered with only one CPU model – the Intel Core i7-1360p. This is a 28W 12-core Raptor Lake chip with 16 threads and 18MB of cache.
Results are from the Cinebench R23 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)
Results are from our Photoshop benchmark test (the lower the score, the better)
GPU options
By default, the iGPU of this CPU is the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 (96EU) but our laptop is configured with the 80EU version. MSI is mentioning that the laptop can be picked with an optional GeForce RTX dGPU with GDDR6 memory but the model of the video card isn’t specified which is kind of strange.
Results are from the 3DMark: Time Spy (Graphics) benchmark (higher the score, the better)
Results are from the 3DMark: Fire Strike (Graphics) benchmark (higher the score, the better)
Results are from the 3DMark: Wild Life benchmark (higher the score, the better)
Results are from the Unigine Superposition benchmark (higher the score, the better)

Just like many modern Intel iGPUs, the one here can allocate up to 8GB of the system RAM which will boost the graphics performance while gaming or while working with resource-heavy software. No matter the fact that we got the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 (80EU), the performance of this integrated model is superb thanks to the good cooling and the LPDDR5 memory that is working in a dual-channel mode.
Thanks for the review!
From the look of the hinge design and the vents location, I assume this laptop disperses warm/hot air directly on to the display?
Did you notice if that was much of an issue?
Cheers
i7-1360P has Iris Xe with 96EUs.
The graphics score in Time Spy is an Iris Xe with 96EUs, the versions with 80EUs don’t reach that mark.
In the GPUz image it shows 80EUs…
Something very strange is happening…
