日本Can You Game on Snapdragon X Elite? We Tried 10 Titles — Here’s How They Run (Or Not)
Our first experience with the Snapdragon X Elite comes thanks to the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED S5507. So far we’ve noticed very good performance and long battery life, however, you can feel that this is a new platform as some apps still don’t work. Every few days we also get software updates that actually improve performance (one BIOS update upped it by 10%).
However, today we’re here to talk gaming on the X Elite, as undoubtedly somebody is cooking up a handheld with one of these, and you’ll want to know how many titles the new platform can support and how well it can run them. We’ve done the hard work, testing 10 games on the X Elite X1E-78-100. Some of them worked, some of them didn’t, but what’s certain is that there’s still work to be done on Qualcomm’s part, similar to when Intel launched their Arc Alchemist GPUs.
