How to open Lenovo LOQ 15i (Gen 9) – disassembly and upgrade options


Step 1: Opening the Lenovo LOQ 15i (Gen 9)

  1. Ensure the Lenovo LOQ 15i (Gen 9) is powered off and placed on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches or damage.
  2. Remove the 10 Phillips-head screws from the bottom of the laptop.
  3. Start prying the panel with a thin plastic tool from one of the top two corners. Proceed with caution as the plastic may feel bendable.
  4. Continue to pop the back, then the sides, with the front being the last part to pry open.

Step 2: Removing the Battery
