Design

The two devices share the same chassis, but the build materials are so far unknown. We certainly expect metal, but we don’t want to mislead you before knowing firsthand. The design itself is about what you would expect from Lenovo, with a minimalist approach and a small badge on the corners of the lid and base. As for portability, the laptops come in at 2.08 kg and have a profile of 17.4 mm.

Display

For the display, Lenovo has picked a 16:10 QHD+ IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB coverage. There’s also DisplayHDR400 support and Dolby Vision as well.

Specifications and features

The Intel-powered version carries the Core i7-12700H and the Arc A370M. Honestly, we wouldn’t recommend it, as we’ve tested it for ourselves, and so far the drivers on it aren’t up to stuff. On the other side, we have the Ryzen 7 6800HS, a CPU with a lower base TDP of 35W, which can be a good thing, as the CPU is not pressured to reach higher if it can’t. It can also result in better efficiency, and being that AMD CPUs are already legends in terms of preserving battery life, there are a lot of gains to be made by choosing the AMD + NVIDIA combo. With an RTX 3050, the laptop can definitely handle heavier workloads.
