Dell has always been one of the staples when it comes to computers and laptops and they have always delivered when they had to. They have something for everyone, ranging from thin and light notebooks for students and business people to full-fledged gaming Battlestations from their Alienware brand.

Today we will be showing you a new offering and talk a little bit about the improvements that they have made from last year’s model.

Dell Inspiron 14 5402/5409

As you can guess from the name, the Inspiron 14 features a 14-inch, Full HD display, you have a variety of choices when it comes to both processors and graphics cards. For CPUs, you can choose between the latest-gen, Tiger Lake offerings from Intel. There are Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 models.

On the GPU side, there are the new iGPUs that Intel has in their processors, and in addition to that, the laptop is offered with an additional NVIDIA MX Graphics card. We believe that this laptop, dependant on the configuration, can work both as an inexpensive student laptop that won’t break the bank, but if you purchase it with the powerful Core i7, the device could turn into a small productivity laptop that can handle pretty much everything.

Dell Inspiron 14 5406 (2-in-1)

This device is like the little brother to the Inspiron 17. It is too a 2-in-1 but is a little less powerful, foregoing the Core i7 in favor of the Core i3 and Core i5. The device offers the same Iris Xe Graphics as the aforementioned devices. It is offered with up to 32GB of RAM and 2000GB of SSD storage. As far as the screen is concerned, you have 2 options: either 14-inch a standard HD screen (1366×768) or a Full HD screen with the same size.
