[Specs and Info] HP reveals the new EliteBook 800 series and the new ZBook Firefly series of business-oriented laptops

Well, today we will take a quick look at their newest additions to the business sector, the HP EliteBook 800 series and the ZBook Firefly series, which promise improvements, with the new Tiger Lake options from Intel. HP EliteBook 850 G8 and the EliteBook x360 G8

These devices come with the new Tiger Lake processors from Intel and are offered with either a 13.3-inch or 15.6-inch screens, that all come in Full HD resolution and have an optional anti-glare technology and touchscreen functionality. Along with the Tiger Lake CPUs, comes the great performing Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7.

As for the x360 G8, it comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen and has a 360-degree hinge, making it a versatile device with the ability to be used as a tablet, when folded the other way around. The device also has the Tiger Lake chips to choose from and has speakers that are tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

Additionally, all devices come with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 and have a large variety of I / O ports and connectivity.

HP ZBook Firefly G8

The ZBook Firefly G8 comes with two display choices, either a 14-inch or a 15-inch screen, with the 15-inch variant being available with a 4K resolution. Once again both models come with the latest Tiger Lake CPUs from Intel and since the devices are also oriented at creators and designers they also can be purchased with an NVIDIA T500 to accompany the Iris Xe Graphics G7 iGPU.

One awesome characteristic of the display is the PANTONE validation, which ensures great color accuracy, which is crucial for a device that is marketed towards creators and designers. Other than that the T500 has 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM that will be appreciated when you’re working on it.
