Android 7.0 Nougat is the latest version of Google’s mobile OS

Several months ago there were some discussions about the upcoming Android N, and now Google officially announced its full name – Android 7.0 Nougat. This is the latest version of the OS, and as you may see Google preserves its tradition of using candy names.

We don’t know when we will see Android 7.0 Nougat but the time for new Nexus models is fast approaching, and it’s very likely that these will be the first devices to operate with the latest Android version. Meanwhile, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is still gathering market share, as it managed to go above 10% last month. We have yet to find out if Nougat will be faster in reaching more mobile devices.
