Jaw-dropping NVIDIA financial results for Q2 – the main reason is Pascal
Not in a very modest way NVIDIA announced its financial results for the last quarter, which ended with the announcement of the new graphics architecture (Pascal) and the launch of the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 GPUs. The American company is aiming to achieve a revenue of $1.68 billion – in comparison, the Q2 NVIDIA revenue is $1.43 billion.
$781 million from this great revenue were accumulated thanks to gaming products, which translates into an 18% increase. A growth of 22% or $214 million is observed in the sphere of professional business solutions. NVIDIA has registered an increase of 68% and $119 million revenue from the sphere of infotainment modules and product development. Considering the fact that new mobile devices are expected to come with Pascal GPUs very soon, it wouldn’t be a surprise if these figures grow even more during Q3.
