Xiaomi Redmi 4 (4X) preview – 5“ screen, 3 GB RAM and 4100 mAh battery

5-inch HD screen and Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS

The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display providing you with big enough working space but not too much to make the device uncomfortable to use. You get HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) which will provide image detail of around 296 ppi. In addition, Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen from scratches.

The battery has a capacity of 4100 mAh that means up to 36 hours of talking time or up to 432 hours of standby time. In addition, the operating system with which the smartphone works is Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). As far as connectivity options are concerned, you get Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS.

3 GB RAM and 13 MP main camera

In terms of hardware, it is based on the mobile processor Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 developed by Qualcomm. It features eight Cortex-A53 cores running at clock speeds of up to 1.40 GHz. The Adreno 505 GPU takes care of the graphics performance. In addition, you get 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage but if needed you can use the available microSD slot with support of up to 125 GB.

Moving on to the main camera specifications. The device features a 13 MP main sensor that sports autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. You can record Full HD (1080p) video at 30 fps. The front camera is 5 MP with f/2.2 aperture.
