Dell Inspiron 5555’s battery life is “uninspiring”

баттDell’s AMD-powered low-end solution sits on our desk and we are almost ready with the full review, but here’s a useful information regarding the battery life for those of you who are impatient.

You can find the notebook’s price and availability here: http://amzn.to/1ShBOFI

The notebook scored just 246 minutes of browsing and 200 minutes of video playback with both results being way below the expected minimum at this price range. We ran our tests as usual – Wi-Fi turned on, screen brightness set to 120 cd/m2 and power saver turned on. It seems that the AMD A10-8700P quad-core processor isn’t all about energy saving. Although, we expected a lot more from the notebook, given the relatively large 40Wh battery.
