The new Dell Inspiron 7373 (13 7000 2-in-1) – specs, features, configurations and prices

Dell’s lineup of notebooks equipped with Intel’s latest 8th gen processors is evergrowing. Today we will take a quick look at the Inspiron 7373 (also found as 13 7000). It’s a compact versatile device with a 13.3-inch form factor and a 2-in-1 design.

The compact device is powered by either the Core i5-8250U or the Core i7-8550U. These are the Kaby Lake Refresh successors to the previous 7th gen ULV chips. The main upgrade is that they feature four physical cores with Hyper-Threading. You can check out our comparisons to see just what a difference this makes.

The new processors are backed by up to 16GB of 2133MHz or 2400MHZ DDR4 RAM running in dual-channel mode. The 1.63 kg (3.6 lbs) device relies on SSDs for storage. The M.2 slot supports PCIe NVMe drives with a capacity of up to 512GB. It is also Intel Optane ready. The Inspiron 7373 is, of course, equipped with all standard connectivity options such as a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi ac with 64 or 128-bit WEP encryption. Another USB 3.1 port can be used for charging external devices.

The Inspiron 7373 features dual stereo speakers, a 720p front-facing camera, and an infrared camera as well. The device is powered by a 3-cell 38Wh lithium-ion battery which is not very much but it would probably deliver good battery life due to the nature of the ULV processor and the small 13.3-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution.

The Dell Inspiron 7373 should already be available in a lot of regions with a starting price of $849.99.
