AMD Radeon HD 8750M + HD 7640G is an asymmetric CrossFire mode between the discreet mid-range 8750M graphics controller with GCN 1.1 Mars Pro architecture and the integrated 7640G graphics chip, from the Terascale 2 family. This mode of operation is called CrossFire because the integrated graphics operate in parallel with the discreet chip, which improves frame rendering performance.
Base frequency is 620MHz for the Radeon HD 8750M, and the latter is equipped with a total of 384 shader cores. The 7640G clocks at 497MHz, but thanks to the Turbo clock functionality, the frequency can go up to 775Mhz for the discreet chip and 686MHz for the integrated controller.
AMD Radeon HD 8750M + HD 7640G combination supports Direct Compute 11, Open CL 1.2, OpenGL 4.1, DirectX 11.1 and Shader model 5.0. Maximum resolutions (WxH) are 2560×1600 for digital output and 2048×1536 for analog output.
