AMD Radeon RX 460M is a mobile GPU based on AMD’s Polaris architecture built upon 14nm FinFET manufacturing process. The chip can be found in the mid-drange configurations of HP Omen and ASUS X550IU. It uses 896 shaders clocked at 1180 MHz boost clock speed. The memory configuration uses the 128-bit bus, 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM clocked at 6000MHz.
As like the rest of the Polaris-based chips from AMD, the Radeon RX 460M supports the same features like DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.4, HDMI 2.0, AMD FreeSync and DirectX 12 renderer, although the latter is only supported on Windows 10. The GPU’s TDP is 75W.
