[Specs, Info, and Prices] HP EliteBook x360 830 G10 – It’s crazy expensive

HP’s EliteBooks keep offering an “Elite” business experience (we’ll see ourselves out for the joke), however, they charge more than a pretty penny for it. Here we have the EliteBook x360 830 G10, a Raptor Lake-powered convertible laptop, as HP looks to quickly outfit its laptops with the latest technology. On the other hand, if the performance and efficiency jump from Alder Lake to Raptor Lake isn’t that high, are you better off sticking to last year’s G9 versions, and saving some cash along the way?

Today we’re giving you a quick overview of the HP EliteBook x360 830 G10.

The HP EliteBook x360 830 G10 is available now with a price of $2,237.00.

HP EliteBook x360 830 G10: Full Specs

Design

The design of the EliteBooks remains unchanged from the previous version. We’ve got a fully aluminum body with a glass slab protecting the display. It weighs 1.30 kg and has a profile of 19.30 mm, which is pretty portable. The rounded edges and corners make it more comfortable to use. Surrounding the display, we’ve got thin bezels that still pack a lot of sensors, like a 5MP webcam with an additional IR sensor, which allows for facial recognition unlocking. On the base, there’s the backlit keyboard and the fingerprint reader, which is separated from the power button, for better or worse.

The ports on the sides include two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 1) ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Display

The display selection has several Full HD+ IPS panels, which is a good sweet spot for a 13.3-inch machine. The base variant has only around 50% sRGB coverage and 250 nits of brightness, but there are versions that go up to 400 or 1000 nits while having full sRGB coverage.

Specifications and features

For hardware, there are four Raptor Lake U-series chips, so a lower 15W TDP and up to 10 cores and 12 threads. Still, they can be very snappy and well-performing, often maintaining wattage way above the 15W base TDP even in prolonged tasks. They also come with the Iris Xe Graphics G7 integrated graphics, which will serve you well when web browsing, doing a bit of work, and watching movies and shows.
