If you want to open the device, you have to undo just 5 captive Phillips-head screws. After that, pry the bottom panel with a plastic tool, starting from the top corners. When the backside is fully popped, you can carefully lift the panel up by holding it firmly in the two zones behind the hinges.

Here, we got the optional 54.7Wh battery. The base version is a 41Wh model. To remove, pull out the connector from the mainboard, and undo the four Phillips-head screws that are fixing the unit to the chassis. The optional capacity is enough for 16 hours and 40 minutes of either Web browsing or video playback.

The memory is soldered and you get up to 32GB of LPDDR5-4800MHz RAM in dual-channel mode.

At least we can have a look at the memory modules. Storage-wise, you can rely on a single M.2 slot compatible with 2280 Gen 4 SSDs. There is a thin thermal pad below the SSD. Next to the NVMe, on the left, is placed the WWAN slot for optional 4G or 5G connectivity.

The cooling system is basic. It comprises one fan, a single heat spreader, a top-mounted heat sink, and one heat spreader.
