[FPS Benchmarks] DOOM (2016) on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (40W and 50W) – very close results on Medium and Ultra details
DOOM (2016) may be not the newest game in our benchmark list but this title is still a good one. The graphics are okay even for 2020 (at least for us), the gameplay is super-fast and breath-taking. And the soundtrack is inspiring and it contributes to the brutal atmosphere while killing a countless number of monsters.
Speaking of monster, this title isn’t too heavy for today’s hardware. Based on our previous tests, a low-end GPU like the GeForce MX350 can deliver almost 60 FPS on Low settings. So, let’s see what the mid-rangers are able to do when the gun of the Doom Slayer is displayed on your screen.
As always, the tested GPUs are the GeForce GTX 1650 [40W, 896 CUDA, GDDR6] and the GeForce GTX 1650 [50W, 1024 CUDA, GDDR5].

Verdict
That was a bit unexpected – on Low details the GeForce GTX 1650 [50W] is 23% faster which seems normal. However, on Medium and Ultra settings, the GeForce GTX 1650 [40W] has the upper hand with a minimal lead. The difference is so small that hardly anyone is going to notice it.
Still, the GeForce GTX 1650 [50W] is good-enough for 144Hz panels if you don’t mind low details. On Medium and Ultra, both GPUs are close to 100 FPS.
