    Dynabook may seem like a new contender in the laptop space, but it is actually the "successor" to the Toshiba brand. Three years ago, a major share of the computing department of Toshiba was purchased by Sharp. A couple of years later, Sharp completed a full takeover of the department and renamed it Dynabook. Other than that, almost everything about the company remains the same - especially the history.In fact, Dynabook now claims that Toshiba once introduced the first real laptop - the Toshiba T1100.
