Step 1: Opening the ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815 (2025)Shut down the laptop and place it on a soft surface. Slide the two Q-latch tabs until the red markers appear. The bottom panel will release and slide off without screws. Underneath, remove the large “ROG Intelligent Cooling” shield, secured with 19 JIS screws (2 × M2 × 5.5 mm in the rear corners and 17 × M2 × 10 mm elsewhere).
