    MSI Cyborg 15 A13V review – A Refreshing Take on Affordable Gaming

    Compared to the A12V model, the MSI Cyborg 15 A13V feels like a simple refresh. Its design and cooling are pretty much almost the same as the previous-generation model. The newer iteration boasts a 13th gen Intel CPU that is based on the Alder Lake architecture. You can also rely on NVIDIA RTX 4000 GPUs with modest TGPs.

    The display is still the same – a 1080p unit with a 144Hz refresh rate. That’s fine for the price class of this machine. The upgradability of the notebook is decent and the same goes for the port selection. The connectivity is modern – Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth v5.3 (option).

    Considering the end price of this device, it’s not a surprise that it lacks features such as a MUX switch or NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. On the bright side, you get an iGPU-only mode for improved battery life, a backlit keyboard, and some curious-looking design with translucent parts.
