日本AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU Benchmarks Have Leaked: Big Improvements over Ryzen 9 8945HS
Ryzen’s new AI-enabled CPUs are ripe for the Copilot+ PC program and now we’ve got benchmark results from Geekbench 6. Overall, we’re quite happy with how the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is performing, both in terms of its Zen 5 CPU scores, but also the RDNA 3.5 iGPU. First things first, let’s recap what the Ryzen AI chips are all about.
These new SoCs target the laptop segment, but we’ll probably see a handheld or two powered by one of these someday. You get up to 12 cores, split between Zen 5 and Zen 5c (c stands for ‘Compact’). Think of them as the P-cores and E-cores of AMD. There’s also a powerful NPU inside that uses the AMD XDNA 2 architecture that more than covers the 40 TOPS (trillion operations per second) of AI performance that is required for a Copilot+ laptop.

The Radeon 890M GPU that’s inside looks to be on the level of the M4 GPU, which bodes quite well for the AMD chip.
