The IFA Berlin convention is just around the corner and some manufacturers have started teasing their upcoming products. One of them is ASUS which releases a teaser video of a new ROG gaming notebook.

ASUS keeps it mouth sealed about this new notebook and information is very scarce. All we know for now is what we can interpret from the teaser video. First of all the name – for about a second we are looking at the rear side of the laptop where we see one USB port, one Thunderbolt port, an HDMI and an interesting charging port. Back to the name, below the ports, we see a writing which reads Chimera which will most likely be what we will call the device.

The video continues showing us the designed on the notebook. We are presented with the four heat sinks on both the left and right side of the notebook. Then we see an explosion bursting in colorful flames displayed on the screen which just makes everything looks cool. The following scene shows the keyboard of the notebook which is apparently RGB illuminated.

An interesting aspect is the fact that for a moment in the video a Xbox controller is shown. Maybe ASUS has some sort of a collaboration with Microsoft for this device. The video ends with the slogan “Unleash the beast” so if we aren’t already convinced then now is the moment to realize this will be ASUS’ top tier gaming notebook. We might see an 8th gen Core i7 HQ or HK processor unveiled, who knows?
