After we introduced you to the notable specs of the new convertible workstation HP ZBook Studio x360 G5 it is now time to take a look at what the regular version – HP ZBook Studio G5, has to offer.

Starting off with hardware options, the notebook can be equipped with the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7/ i5 processors or the powerful Intel Xeon ones. These CPUs are backed up by up to 32 GB DDR4-2667 ECC SDRAM, while the storage options go up to 2 TB SATA at 5400 rpm. You could also configure your machine with an Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics card or an NVIDIA Quadro P1000 one with up to 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

Moving on, there are two display options for the HP ZBook Studio G5. Both of them offer a 15.6-inch IPS panel featuring either a Full HD (1920 x 1080) or 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution. There is also an anti-glare coating that allows you to use your laptop even under direct sunlight without experiencing any distractions such as reflections. In addition, the notebook tips the scale at 2.05 kg (4.5 lbs) and has an 18.8 mm thin profile which suggests pretty good portability.

As for connectivity, HP ZBook Studio G5 offers a nice variety of options including 2x USB Type-C port, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port (Sleep and Charge), 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, HDMI, SD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.

The starting price of HP ZBook Studio G5 is expected to be around $1,299.
