1. The design
Its modern and simplistic design will last for years. It is not a high-end machine but it looks good at every angle which adds a bit of a premium look in the whole “picture”. The profile is just 20mm and the weight is low – 1.90 kg.

2. Ryzen ULV CPUs

Yes, the latest Ryzen tech is inside. That means a better price/performance ratio that the Intel rivals as well as good efficiency. The powerful iGPUs like AMD Vega 8 and Vega 10 are inside too.

3. Upgradability

The display (Innolux N156HGA-EA3 CMN15F5) of the Acer Aspire 3 (A315-42) isn’t a good one. It is a TN panel with bad viewing angles, poor contrast ratio (310:1), and very low sRGB color coverage – 54%.

2. The build quality

The other drawback is the build quality. You can’t open the lid with one hand. If you try it, the plastic over the display will bend in a bad way. Speaking of plastic, it is an all-plastic build and the laptop can be scratched easily.
