Huawei officially announced the P9 Plus – specs and prices

Along with their P9 model, Huawei officially announced the P9 Plus as well. The main difference between the phones is in the the screen as the bigger one sports a 5.5-inch display and replaces the LCD IPS panel with an AMOLED one. The resolution of the screen is again Full HD (1920 x 1080). Furthermore, P9 Plus sports the so-called Press Touch technology, which is similar to the 3D touch feature on the iPhone 6s. Unlike Huawei P9, which will be available in two versions, P9 Plus will have only one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

Another difference between the classic and Plus versions of the P9 is in the capacity of the battery. The bigger handset features a 3400 mAh unit and according to the manufacturer, you’ll get up to 6 hours of talk time for only 10 minutes on the charger. P9 Plus will hit the market on the 20th of May and its price will be around €649 (about $741).
