Everyone is talking about NVIDIA’s new GTX 1070 and 1080 Pascal GPUs lately and to be honest, these chips deserve all the attention. But what’s the cost of having the most advanced GPU? Well, we have the answer to some countries around the world.

Of course, in the US the price of the GTX 1080 Founder’s Edition is probably the lowest in the world – around $700 but as the GPU comes in Europe, prices start to go up. For example, in the UK the GPU starts at £660 whereas in Germany, the Founder’s Edition graphics card sells for around €780 – 900. France and Italy keep the same price rates as its neighbours but somehow Spain has the highest possible price of more than €1 000.

Sure, the GTX 1080 Founder’s Edition is one hell of a GPU with one of the most advanced 16nm chip and next generation GDDR5X VRAM, but some prices seem a bit disturbing. We are sure, however, that price rates will go down eventually as the demand for this GPU right now is going through the roof and will normalize in the coming months. But if you want to have it NOW, get ready to break the bank.
