Lenovo Vibe C (A2020) preview – 5″ HD IPS display, Snapdragon 210 and 5MP camera

4-core Snapdragon 210 CPU and 5MP camera

This smartphone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 CPU. It is meant for the budget segment, and it features four Cortex-A7 cores, ticking up to 1.1 GHz. Also available are Adreno 304 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage is only 8 GB but this is expandable via the microSD card slot, which supports up to 32 GB.

Additionally, the main camera is 5MP and it has autofocus and LED flash. Its menu has some additional settings and options including HD video recording. On the front, you can work with a 2MP front-facing camera, which can be quite handy for video calls.

5-inch HD IPS display and Android 5.1

Vibe C has a 5-inch display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 p). It ensures a reasonably detailed image, and the pixel density is 294 ppi. What is more, the panel is IPS which translates into bright and contrasty colors, as well as wide viewing angles. This type of display features are more common for mid-rangers, so it can be considered as this phone’s key advantage.

Software-wise, Lenovo Vibe C uses Android 5.1.1 Lollipop customized by Lenovo’s UI. The latter brings a good number of pre-installed apps including SHAREit and SYNCit.

Two SIM cards and a 2300 mAh battery

This model allows you to use two SIM cards and they have to be of the microSIM type. Thus, you won’t need to carry two devices and worry if you’ve charged them both.

Vibe C has standard dimensions and form factor, its profile thickness being 9 mm. There are various color variants available on the market, so you can choose the one that suits your taste. Additionally, the battery unit is 2300 mAh, but we don’t have any information as to its performance yet. The available hardware does not suggest great power consumption and we can expect reasonable battery life.
