ARK: Survival Evolved is a beautiful-looking game that is set on an island that is populated by prehistoric creatures and other humans. You have to build a base and use weapons in order to survive. The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes.
This is an Unreal 4-based title so you can expect decent graphics but this big open world needs a lot of system resources if you want to see it in its full glory. We saw that some powerful previous-gen GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q (90W) are having a hard time on Ultra for reaching the 60 FPS mark.

Verdict
It seems that 60 FPS on Ultra isn’t a problem for these powerful Ampere GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is able to show 80 FPS on Ultra while the RTX 3070 [130W] reaches 66 FPS which is a good result as well. If you need a higher FPS just switch to High preset – the visual quality is still good but the FPS will be much higher.
