[FPS Benchmarks] Warframe on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) – the 130W GPU is clearly faster

Warframe is a popular free-to-play title that can be acquired via Steam. This is a third-person shooter that comes with some RPG elements. Not the newest game out there but the developer constantly updates the game with new content.

Warframe is based on the Evolution engine and the picture quality is okay for a free game. At least the game is light and you can play it on low-end iGPUs like the Intel UHD G1.

So, let’s check the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) when it comes to Warframe.

    Verdict

It seems that on Low settings, the lower TGP of the 85W GPU doesn’t affect negatively the overall performance and the 130W video card is just 6% faster. Things look different on High – in this case, the 130W graphics solution is 89% faster which is a huge performance gap.
