    Acer Aspire 3 in-depth review

Here comes another daily driver from Acer. It is the Aspire 3 (A315-42), and it looks more like the Aspire 5 (A515-52G) than its sibling from the Aspire 3 line-up - the A315-55G, that we tested some time ago. What is the difference between the two Aspire 3s? • Poor contrast ratio and only 54% of sRGB color coverage (Innolux N156HGA-EA3 (CMN15F5))

    Disassembly, maintenance and upgrade options

Acer Aspire 3 (A315-42) is based on Acer's own Aspire 5 (A515-52G). Despite them sharing pretty much the same chassis design, both laptops are very different from each other, with the main one being the use of AMD processors instead of Intel.Check out all Acer Aspire 3 (A315-42) prices and configurations in our Specs System or read more in our In-Depth review.1. Remove the bottom plate Again, this laptop requires its entire bottom plate to be removed, should you wish to access its internals. There are 10 Phillips-head screws that keep it in place, and after you unscrew them, you[...]
