While new and upcoming GPUs are great to compare, we have to remember the old warriors, who paved the way. With the news that NVIDIA will be returning to production of the GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1650, to answer the GPU shortage that is happening right now, we have to ask the question of how good they are when put against the GPUs of today, one of which is the newly available RX 5300M.
Today we will do just that, by comparing the Radeon RX 5300M against the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
Here is our Top Laptop Graphics Ranking, where you can see the best graphics cards for laptops.
|Radeon RX 5300M||GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB GDDR5)|
|Lithography||7 nm||14 nm|
|Base / Max Frequency||1181MHz / 1445MHz||1493MHz / 1620MHz|
|Memory bandwidth||168 GB/sec||112 GB/sec|
In 3DMark Fire Strike, the Radeon RX 5300M scored 37% higher than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. For the other two Unigine benchmarks, the AMD GPU performed better as well, with an 8% better performance in the Heaven 4.0 test, and was 46% faster in the Superposition benchmark.
