[Comparison] AMD Ryzen 5 4500U vs Intel Core i7-10510U – Intel faces total annihilation

In this comparison, we have the classic rumble – AMD vs Intel. We have the newer AMD Ryzen 5 4500U – part of the new Ryzen line of processors, versus the Intel Core i7-10510U which was released in 2019.

Both CPUs are a popular choice for mobile platforms and we are going to see which CPU does better in our series of tests.

    CPU Benchmark

In the first 3D rendering benchmark the Ryzen is 34% faster than the Intel and it also takes the win in our Photoshop rendering benchmark by being 12% faster.

Results are from the Cinebench 20 CPU test (the higher the score, the better)

    GPU Benchmark

In the GPU department, we can see a huge difference between the two contestants. It won’t be an overstatement if we say that the RX Vega 6 inside of the Ryzen 5 is roughly two times better than its Intel counterpart.

    Gaming capabilities

In terms of gaming, the Ryzen does not leave the Intel a chance. Both in Dota 2 and in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the Ryzen does a substantially better job than its competitor.
