[Comparison] AMD Ryzen 5 6600H vs Intel Core i5-11400H – The Core i5 offers a lot of value

While Alder Lake was the finishing blow, Tiger Lake started Intel’s resurgence. The 11th Gen 45W CPUs were very underrated last year and still are. While they aren’t as efficient as AMD’s offerings, they could still perform very well when paired with capable cooling.

In 2022, AMD has been on the back foot, with the Ryzen 5 6600H not being up to stuff when it comes to competing with Alder Lake. Since the AMD CPU is a new arrival in our office, we want to put it against the Core i5-11400H to see if the new chip is worth spending a premium on a new laptop.

Today we’re comparing the AMD Ryzen 5 6600H against the Intel Core i5-11400H.

Here is our Top Laptop CPU Ranking, which has the best laptop CPUs in a list, based on performance.
